Anything worth telling the team: birthdays, work anniversaries, team wins, welcome messages for new starters, questions and general updates. Posts use a rich text editor with links and lists, up to 1,000 characters each. The feed shows the newest posts first, loads more as you scroll, and includes a keyword search and filters to find older posts.
Community Wall
Give your staff one place to post updates, tag colleagues, comment and react, with every post visible only to the departments, locations or groups you choose.
An online community wall that brings your whole workforce into one feed
Sentrient's community wall gives your staff a single feed for the things that keep a workplace connected. Anyone can post an update, tag a colleague, comment on a thread or react to good news. Upcoming birthdays, work anniversaries and the latest announcements sit beside the feed, so nobody misses a moment worth marking. Administrators can see every post and comment in one place and step in when needed.
Most important community events
Sentrient's community wall software gives your people a place to share and celebrate:
- Birthdays
- Work anniversaries
- Team wins and milestones
- Company announcements
- Everyday updates and questions
Stay updated, stay connected
The community wall shows the newest posts first, with the author, time and full conversation under each one. Beside the feed, a panel lists the latest announcements, upcoming birthdays with a countdown in days, and upcoming work anniversaries with each person's role. Search posts by keyword or apply a filter to find an older update in seconds.
- Newest posts first, with the full thread under each
- Birthdays, work anniversaries and announcements beside the feed
- Search and filter to find any post
Celebrate every moment
A birthday, a work anniversary or a completed probation deserves more than an email. Post it on the wall, tag the person, and let the team join in with likes, reactions and comments. The upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries panel shows who is next and how many days to go, so the team never finds out after the fact.
- Tag the person being celebrated
- Likes, reactions and comments on every post
- See who is next and how many days to go
Post, tag and notify
Write a post in a proper editor, not a plain text box. Bold and italics, links, bulleted and numbered lists, and alignment are all there, with a 1,000-character limit to keep posts readable. Tag a colleague from the editor, and they receive a notification that they have been mentioned. Set the visibility, select Post, and it is on the wall.
- Rich text editor with links and lists
- Tag colleagues in posts and comments
- Tagged staff are notified
Conversations that stay together
Every post carries its own conversation. Staff can comment, reply to each other, tag the person they are answering, and each comment shows its own like count. Longer threads collapse to the most recent comments, with a link to show all comments, so a busy post stays readable. The result is a discussion the whole team can follow, not a chain of private messages.
- Comments and replies under every post
- Likes on individual comments
- Long threads collapse until you expand them
Set up visibility
Not every post is for everyone. When you create a post, choose the departments, locations and groups whose staff should see it, from one team to the whole organisation. The selection is multi select, so a post can go to three sites and two departments at once. Staff outside the selection do not see it in their feed.
- Visibility by department, location or group
- Combine several departments, locations and groups in one post
- Staff outside the selection do not see the post
Manage community wall
Administrators get a separate Manage Community Wall view that lists every post and comment, including the author, content, and date. A Main badge separates original posts from comments, and you can filter by staff member, search by keyword and choose how many rows to show. Edit or delete any post or comment from the same table, and add a post with its own visibility settings.
- Every post and comment in one table
- Filter by staff member or search by keyword
- Edit or delete any post or comment
Build a connected workplace culture with a community wall that your staff will use
Sentrient's community wall management system lives inside the same platform as your HR, compliance and learning tools, so staff do not need another app to stay connected. Post, tag, react and reply in one feed, keep sensitive updates to the right departments, locations or groups, and give administrators full oversight of what is on the wall. Book a demo and see it in action.

Yes. Tag a colleague from the editor in a post or a comment. The tagged person receives a notification, and the tag appears in the post so everyone can see who is being celebrated or asked a question. Tags work in replies too, so a comment can be aimed at the person it answers.
Yes. Each post has visibility settings for department, location and group. Choose one or several, or leave the post open to everyone. The same settings apply whether a staff member posts from the feed or an administrator adds a post from the Manage view. Staff outside the selection do not see the post.
Yes. Every post has a like button, reactions and a comment thread. Staff can reply to each other and like individual comments, and long threads collapse to the latest comments with a link to show them all. Each post and comment has its own menu for the author to edit or remove it.
The Manage Community Wall view lists every post and comment in one table with the author, content and date, and a Main badge that separates original posts from comments. Administrators can filter by staff member, search by keyword, choose which columns and how many rows to show, and edit or delete any post or comment.
Yes. A panel beside the feed lists upcoming birthdays with a countdown in days, upcoming work anniversaries with each person's role, and the latest announcements with their dates. Staff see all three the moment they open the wall, so it doubles as a daily noticeboard without anyone having to post a reminder.
