Sentrient’s HR software for recruitment agencies is an all-in-one Australian HR and compliance platform for the people an agency employs, both consultants and on-hired workers. It covers onboarding, inductions, compliance courses, licence and credential tracking, policies, performance reviews, timesheets and records, with reminders before anything expires and reports ready for a client or licensing audit.
HR Software for Recruitment Agencies
A simple-to-implement, easy-to-use, and reliable AI-powered HR system for recruitment agencies and labour hire providers across Australia. Onboard consultants and on-hired workers quickly, keep licences, tickets and inductions current, deliver compliance training before placement, and hold the records your licence, your clients and your auditors expect.
HR Software for Recruitment Agencies: Recruitment Agency HR Software Built for Australia
Recruitment agencies and labour hire providers run two workforces at once. Consultants and internal staff need the same onboarding, policies, training and performance support as any employer. On-hired workers arrive in volume, start at short notice and work on sites the agency does not control. Licensed providers in Victoria, Queensland and South Australia also need to show they comply with workplace, safety, taxation and superannuation laws and report on their activity each year. Safe Work Australia describes the agency and the host as sharing duties for the health and safety of labour hire workers, including information, instruction, training and induction before work starts. Sentrient gives agencies one platform to onboard both workforces, run inductions and compliance courses, track licences and renewals, manage policies and keep every record ready when a regulator, client or auditor asks.

FAQs About Our HR Software for Recruitment Agencies
Answers to the questions recruitment agencies and labour hire providers ask before choosing HR and compliance software. Each one is written to stand alone.
Yes. Sentrient is built and supported in Australia for Australian and New Zealand employers. The preloaded courses and policy templates reflect Australian workplace law, including Work Health and Safety, sexual harassment prevention and workplace bullying, and the platform is used by more than 1,000 organisations across the two countries.
Most agencies run a recruitment CRM or applicant tracking system for candidates and clients, a payroll or award interpretation system for pay, and an HR and compliance system for their own employees and on-hired workers. Sentrient is the third layer. It manages onboarding, training, credentials, policies, performance and records for every person the agency employs.
Sentrient is not a recruitment CRM or temp desk, so it does not manage client job orders or place candidates with hosts. It does not roster or fill shifts, interpret awards, process payroll or invoice hosts. It does track applicants for the agency’s own hiring, which is a different job from placing candidates for clients. Hiring for the agency itself is covered on our applicant tracking for recruitment agencies page. Agencies keep those tools and connect Sentrient beside them as the HR and compliance layer, using integrations such as Xero, MYOB, KeyPay and Salesforce to share people and client data.
Yes. Sentrient records each worker’s licences, tickets, checks and visa expiry dates, for example White Cards, forklift licences and Working with Children Checks, against their employee record with the document attached. Reminders go to the worker and their manager before expiry. Sentrient does not conduct the checks itself. The provider remains responsible for verifying each credential.
Set the expiry date when the credential is uploaded and Sentrient sends reminders to the worker and their consultant at the intervals you choose. A dashboard shows every expiring credential by branch or host, so redeployment decisions are made before a licence runs out rather than after a host raises it.
Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and the ACT run labour hire licensing schemes. In Victoria, licence holders must comply with workplace, taxation, superannuation, occupational health and safety, workers compensation and migration laws, keep relevant persons fit and proper, and lodge an annual report. Sentrient helps you evidence the training, policy and records side of that. The licensed provider remains responsible for compliance.
Both. Safe Work Australia describes the labour hire provider and the host as persons conducting a business or undertaking who share duties to the worker and cannot contract those duties away. The provider must confirm workers hold the qualifications and licences the work needs and receive a safety induction. Sentrient records inductions, training and consultation so the agency can show what it did. The provider remains responsible.
Sentrient comes preloaded with courses agencies assign to consultants and on-hired workers, including Work Health and Safety, Sexual Harassment Prevention, Workplace Bullying, Code of Conduct, Respect at Work, Privacy, Modern Slavery, Cyber Security, Psychological Health and Safety and Incident Reporting. You can also upload your own host-specific inductions and track completion the same way.
Yes. Automation rules assign courses at onboarding and re-assign them at the interval you set, for example annual refreshers for sexual harassment prevention or WHS. Reminders go out before the due date and completion history stays on the worker’s record, which is useful when a host or auditor asks when a worker last completed a course.
Contracts, tax and superannuation declarations, right-to-work declarations, licences and tickets, induction and training completions, policy acknowledgements, timesheets, performance reviews, incident reports and host feedback, all against one employee record. Records are searchable and exportable. Retention periods and what must be kept remain the provider’s responsibility under Fair Work and licensing law.
HR and compliance software for recruitment agencies should let you answer an auditor without a spreadsheet hunt. Sentrient reports show, by worker, host or branch, who completed which induction and course, when, which credentials are current and which policies are acknowledged. Export the report for a licensing authority, a host’s procurement team or your own annual reporting preparation.
Yes. Workers log incidents, near misses and hazards from their phone, with photos and location, and the report reaches the consultant and safety lead immediately. That supports the agreed incident processes Safe Work Australia expects between provider and host. Notifying the regulator of a notifiable incident remains the duty of the responsible business.
Most on-hired workers complete their Sentrient onboarding pack in under an hour from a phone, covering contract, declarations, policy sign-off and assigned inductions. Client-specific checklists mean a construction placement and an office placement collect the right documents without a consultant chasing paperwork. Consultants see completion status live.
Yes. Sentrient holds one record per person regardless of engagement type, so casual temps, fixed-term placements, independent contractors you engage and permanent consultants sit in the same system with the right documents, courses and policies assigned to each. Employment classification and pay remain decisions for the agency and its payroll system.
Yes. Group workers by branch, state, host or client, give branch managers visibility of their own people and keep national reporting for head office. That helps providers licensed in more than one state keep training and credential evidence organised for each scheme. Meeting each state’s licensing requirements remains the provider’s responsibility.
Structured onboarding, clear placement goals, regular one-to-ones and visible recognition on the community wall give recruiters a reason to stay. Analytics flag branches where engagement or training completion is slipping, so managers can act before a resignation. Sentrient supports retention practices. It does not promise a turnover figure.
Yes. Managers set goals, run documented one-to-ones, give real-time feedback and complete formal reviews in Sentrient, with learning plans linked to each consultant. Performance Management courses for employees and managers are included, and every review sits on the record for remuneration and promotion decisions.
Yes. Sentrient is web-based and works on any phone or tablet browser, so workers complete onboarding, inductions, courses, timesheets and incident reports from a host site without an app install. Consultants and managers approve and monitor from their own devices.
Sentrient is Australian, preloaded with local compliance courses and policies, and built to sit beside your recruitment CRM and payroll rather than replace them. Agencies get one record per person across consultants and on-hired workers, reminders before credentials lapse and audit-ready reporting, with a support team based in Australia.
Sentrient suits recruitment agencies, labour hire providers, temp agencies, executive search firms and professional services consultancies that place people with clients. Published Sentrient clients in professional services include DWS Group, E3 Advisory, Mills Oakley and Engineers Australia. An HR system for staffing agencies works whether you run one office or a national branch network.
Sentrient is cloud-based and set up by our Australian team with you. Typical steps are importing people data, connecting your payroll or accounting system, loading your policies beside the preloaded ones, assigning courses and checklists by role and host, and training your consultants. Most agencies are live within weeks rather than months.
Pricing depends on the number of people you employ and place, the modules you need and any integrations. We prepare a tailored proposal after a short discovery conversation, so you pay for what your agency uses. There is no obligation and no pressure to decide on the call.
Yes. Book a free 20-minute demo and we will walk through onboarding, licence tracking, compliance training and reporting using scenarios from your agency, then answer your questions. Use the form at the top of this page or the Request Demo button to choose a time.
