NADO Disability Services is a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Provider and a community-based non-profit charity with over 40 years’ experience that supports people with disabilities, their families and carers across the Nepean and Blue Mountains Region in New South Wales.

In early 2020, NADO were looking for an online system to support their learning and development program and with a focus on reducing administration time and increasing their return on investment. NADO reviewed a few different online platforms and found Sentrient was the one for them. Not only was it able to provide a learning management system, but it also aligned to the governance risk, and compliance requirements as well, delivering further benefits to the overall organisation beyond learning.

NADO, are always looking for ways to better support their staff and realised that going digital was a part of that. An investment in an online system to support their ongoing learning and compliance agenda also supported the ongoing audit and compliance requirements as a NDIS provider

Two years into our partnership, we asked NADO’s Human Resource Manager, Julia Tierney, about her experience with Sentrient.

“The Sentrient team is always accommodating and helpful. I am in a better position since partnering with Sentrient where I am not chasing the team and the system is doing it all for me.”

Staff have found the Sentrient system easy to use and are a lot more engaged at induction and with ongoing learning and compliance courses, completing mandatory training in a timelier manner.

NADO is committed to providing services and supports that respond to the needs and personal goals of people with disability, their families, and carers within the context of their home, work, and community life, and Sentrient are pleased to be a supporting partner.
