This Code of Conduct sets out the standards we hold ourselves to, and what we expect of our people, suppliers and other third parties we engage on our behalf.

1. Who we are
Sentrient Pty Ltd is an Australian-registered company (ABN 63 609 044 788), based in Melbourne, Victoria, providing Compliance, GRC and HR software to organisations across Australia.
2. Our commitment
This Code of Conduct applies to Sentrient and to everyone who acts for or on our behalf, including our directors, employees, contractors and agents. It reflects the standard of conduct we expect in our dealings with each other, our clients, our suppliers, and the public.
3. Acting with honesty and integrity
We are honest and transparent in how we do business, including in the information we provide about our products and services. We do not offer or accept gifts, hospitality or other benefits where these could improperly influence, or appear to influence, a business decision.
4. Treating people fairly and with respect
We do not tolerate unlawful behaviour, including discrimination, harassment, bullying or victimisation. We are committed to a safe, inclusive and respectful workplace, and to treating everyone we deal with – colleagues, clients, suppliers and the public – fairly and with respect.
5. Managing conflicts of interest
A conflict of interest arises where personal interests could improperly influence, or appear to influence, a business decision. We take reasonable steps to identify, disclose and manage conflicts of interest as they arise, so our decisions remain impartial and in the best interests of our clients and our business.
6. Anti-bribery and corruption
Sentrient does not tolerate bribery or corruption in any form. We do not offer, give, solicit or accept bribes or improper payments, and we expect the same standard from anyone acting on our behalf.
7. Health and safety
We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and take health and safety seriously across our business and in how we engage contractors and suppliers.
8. Confidentiality and data protection
We protect confidential information and personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, and expect the same care from our people and any third parties who handle information on our behalf.
9. Our expectations of suppliers and third parties
We expect any supplier, contractor or other third party we engage to act consistently with the principles in this Code, including in relation to modern slavery risk, as set out in our Modern Slavery Statement.
10. Compliance with law and our policies
We comply with the law and our internal policies in everything we do, and expect the same of anyone acting on our behalf.
11. How to raise a concern
Anyone – including our people, clients, suppliers or members of the public – can raise a concern about conduct that may breach this Code. Concerns can be raised confidentially by contacting us using the details in section 12.
We take all concerns seriously, and will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith.
