PoSH Training For Managers
POSH training for managers is a term from Indian law rather than Australian. It refers to the Prevention of Sexual Harassment framework, and Australian organisations usually meet it through offshore teams or a global head office.
The Indian framework is procedural. Employers above a specified size must constitute an Internal Committee to receive and inquire into complaints, with defined composition, timeframes and annual reporting.
Australia has no direct equivalent of that committee. The obligation here is the positive duty, which is outcome-focused rather than structural. You are not required to constitute a particular body. You are required to take reasonable and proportionate measures to prevent the conduct, and to be able to show what they were.
If you operate in both, you need both. The Australian Human Rights Commission covers the Australian duty. This is general information rather than legal advice.
