Sexual Harassment Training
Sexual harassment training changed status when the positive duty arrived. It moved from good practice to one of the measures an employer is expected to have in place.
That raises the bar on content. A module that defines the conduct and points at the policy does very little to prevent it, because almost nobody offends through ignorance of the definition.
Content that carries weight covers the drivers rather than only the rule. Where risk concentrates in your operation. What a bystander can realistically say in the moment. How a manager responds to a disclosure in the first five minutes. What protection exists for the person who reports. And how to raise something about someone senior.
Records matter too, since a measure you cannot evidence is difficult to rely on. The Australian Human Rights Commission publishes the seven standards. This is general information rather than legal advice.
