What Is End To End Recruitment In HR
What is end to end recruitment in HR? It describes one person or team owning a vacancy from approval through to the new starter being settled, rather than passing it between specialists at each stage.
The alternative is a divided model. A sourcing specialist finds candidates, a coordinator schedules, a manager interviews, HR makes the offer, and somebody else handles onboarding. Each does their part competently and nobody holds the whole thing.
What ownership changes is accountability for the outcome rather than the step. An end to end recruiter cares whether the person is still there at six months, because they will be asked. A sourcing specialist measured on candidates delivered has no reason to.
It also removes the handover points, which is where candidates go quiet and drop out.
The Australian Human Rights Commission covers recruitment obligations. This is general information rather than legal advice, and obligations vary by state and territory.
