SDG Training Courses

SDG training courses are easy to find and uneven in quality. A few questions separate the useful ones.

Does it end in a decision? A course that finishes with a completion certificate and no output has taught awareness. One that finishes with a shortlist of goals, an owner and something to measure has taught application.

Is it grounded locally? Global content is fine for the goals themselves and unhelpful the moment it touches obligations, because Australian reporting requirements are specific.

Does it separate commitment from reporting? Stating support for a goal and disclosing performance against it are different exercises with different risks attached.

That last point is where organisations get into trouble, since a public commitment you cannot evidence creates exposure rather than credit, and it stays on the record.
