Conflict Resolution Course
A conflict resolution course comes in three delivery formats, and each has a genuine weakness worth knowing before you commit a budget.
Online, self-paced. Scales across sites and shifts, completes reliably, and records easily. Weakness is that practice is simulated, so confidence gains are smaller.
Facilitated in a room. Strongest for practice and for surfacing what is really going on in a team. Weakness is cost, scheduling across a roster, and the fact that people are reluctant to be candid in front of the very colleagues they are in conflict with.
Blended. Knowledge online, practice in a short facilitated session. Usually the best value of the three, but only if the second half actually happens. Plenty of blended programmes quietly become online-only once the first round of scheduling proves difficult.
Safe Work Australia covers the psychosocial duty. This is general information rather than legal advice.
