Conflict Resolution Training
Conflict resolution training covers four distinct capabilities, and organisations tend to be weak in one of them rather than all four. Identifying which changes what you should buy.
- Raising it early. If issues only surface once they are serious, the gap is confidence, not skill.
- Holding the conversation. If people raise things but the conversations go badly, the gap is technique.
- Third-party handling. If managers escalate everything to HR, the gap is supervisory capability.
- Triage. If bullying or discrimination matters are being mediated as conflict, the gap is knowing the boundary, and that one carries legal risk.
Ask where your last five disputes actually broke down before choosing a programme, rather than buying the whole syllabus by default. The answer is usually consistent, and it points at one of the four rather than at all of them.
Safe Work Australia covers workplace conflict as a psychosocial hazard. This is general information rather than legal advice.
