GRC Software Pricing
GRC software pricing quoted in a proposal is usually the licence. The total is decided by four things that appear later.
- Implementation. Configuration, migrating existing registers, and building your obligation library. Often comparable to the first year’s licence.
- The user model. Per named user, per active user, or unlimited. If occasional users need a licence, the cost of getting the whole organisation involved rises sharply.
- Modules. Risk, incident, policy, audit and survey are frequently priced separately, and a GRC programme needs most of them.
- Integration and support. Single sign-on, HR system feeds, and whether support is included or tiered.
Ask every vendor for a three-year total including all four items before you compare anything, and ask what happens to the price at renewal. Proposals are rarely built on the same basis. The Fair Work Ombudsman covers record obligations. This is general information rather than legal advice.
