Online learning assessment tools carry a limitation worth stating plainly. An unsupervised assessment cannot confirm who sat it, whether anybody helped, or whether the answers were open in another window.

For most workplace compliance training that is acceptable, because the purpose is exposure and understanding rather than certification.

It stops being acceptable where something turns on the result. A licence, a clearance, a competency that permits somebody to operate equipment, or a claim in an audit that a person was assessed as competent.

Where the stakes are that high, pair the online component with something observed. A practical check, a supervisor sign-off, or an assessment conducted in person.

Say which of the two you are doing rather than letting a completion report imply the stronger one.
