Respect The Workplace
To respect the workplace, as distinct from the people in it, sounds like a minor point. It is one of the more common sources of low-level friction, and it accumulates.
Shared spaces do most of it. Kitchens left for somebody else. Meeting rooms held past the booking. Equipment taken and not returned. Desks in a hot-desking arrangement treated as owned. Storage filled by whoever got there first.
Time is the other half, and it is less visible. Meetings called without an agenda so twelve people prepare for nothing. Recurring meetings that outlived their purpose years ago. Last-minute requests that assume someone else’s evening.
None of this reaches a complaint. All of it signals whose convenience counts, and people notice the pattern long before they could describe it.
