Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

Sexual harassment prevention training and awareness training are sold as the same product and are not. The difference decides whether anything changes.

Awareness training explains the definition, the policy and the reporting process. It is necessary, it is quick, and on its own it moves very little. People already knew the conduct was wrong.

Prevention training targets the conditions and the behaviour of everyone who is not the person involved. What a bystander can actually say. What a manager does in the first five minutes of a disclosure. How to raise something about a senior person. What happens to the person who reports.

If your content is entirely definitions and process, you have bought awareness. Under the positive duty, that is unlikely to be enough on its own.
