Training For Respect In The Workplace
Training for respect in the workplace is commonly delivered once, at induction, and then not again unless something goes wrong.
The difficulty is timing. Respect training prepares people for a moment that may not arrive for two years, and by then very little of a single session remains. What people retain is a general sense that the organisation cares about it, not the specific thing to do or say.
Regular short refreshers work better than one long session, and refreshers built around situations work better than refreshers built around definitions. Managers need more than everyone else, because they are the ones who receive the first report.
Recording who completed what and when also matters, since it is part of showing the steps you took.
The Australian Human Rights Commission publishes guidance on the positive duty. This is general information rather than legal advice, and obligations vary by state and territory.
