Workplace Health And Safety Course Online
A workplace health and safety course online covers the knowledge half of WHS well and cannot cover the other half at all. Knowing which is which saves money.
Works online. Duties under the WHS Act, what a hazard is, how to report, consultation rights, the risk management steps, and who is responsible for what. All of it is knowledge, it is identical for every learner, and it produces a completion record you can actually produce later.
Does not work online. Anything requiring physical demonstration or site-specific judgement. Equipment use, emergency procedures, and recognising hazards in your own workplace.
The cheap fix is not to move the whole thing into a classroom. It is a short site walk with a supervisor after completion, using the same framework the online module taught, which takes twenty minutes.
