Compliance And Risk Management Courses
Compliance and risk management courses get reported on by completion rate, and completion rate measures very little.
A module clicked through at speed on a phone counts the same as one someone worked through properly. Both appear as green in the report, and the report is what goes to the board.
A few things distinguish training that lands. Content specific to the organisation rather than a generic library module. Scenarios drawn from things that have actually happened in the industry. Questions that require judgement rather than recall. And a manager who mentions it afterwards, which does more for retention than any feature of the course.
If you report completion, report something alongside it. Time taken, first attempt scores, or where people got the answer wrong.
The Fair Work Ombudsman publishes workplace guidance. This is general information rather than legal advice, and obligations vary by state and territory.
