EEO Online Training
EEO online training is usually chosen for reach and consistency. On this subject the format has a less obvious advantage.
People engage more honestly with discrimination and harassment content alone than they do in a room with colleagues, and possibly with the person the content is describing. Group sessions on these topics reliably produce silence, careful agreement and nervous humour.
Online also lets someone re-read a section, take longer over a scenario, or sit with an uncomfortable question without anybody noticing they did. That matters more on this subject than on most compliance topics.
What it does not do is let people practise a difficult conversation. Cover that separately with managers rather than moving the whole programme into a workshop and losing the privacy advantage.
The Australian Human Rights Commission publishes the standards. This is general information rather than legal advice, and obligations vary by state and territory.
