Employee Feedback Management System
An employee feedback management system is usually judged on collection. Response rates, question design, dashboards. The failure is almost always at the other end.
People are surveyed, results are analysed, a summary goes to the leadership team, and nothing visible happens. The following year the response rate drops and the drop is read as apathy. It is not. It is a reasonable conclusion drawn from last time.
Closing the loop takes three things. Telling people what the results said, including the uncomfortable parts. Naming what will change and what will not, with reasons for the second. And reporting back on progress before asking again.
Where feedback surfaces psychosocial issues there is a further point. Once an organisation knows about a hazard, knowing is itself relevant to what it should do next.
