Three decisions made before advertising save the most time later.
Agree the criteria and the panel’s availability first. Both. Criteria set afterwards get bent toward whoever interviewed well, and a panel that has not blocked time creates the two-week gap that loses candidates.
Decide who can approve the offer, and what the range is. Before the final round, not after.
Set one place applications land. Not an inbox. Anything in a personal inbox is invisible when that person is away and impossible to evidence later.
Those three remove most of the delay and most of the risk, without adding process.
