Human Resource Management Policy Template
Choosing a human resource management policy template is rarely the hard part. Deciding which policies you need first is, and most organisations answer it by writing whichever one came up last.
A more useful order runs by legal exposure. Start with the policies tied to a duty you already hold. Work health and safety. Equal employment opportunity. Anti-bullying and harassment. Code of conduct. Privacy and data handling. Those five carry direct obligations and are the ones a regulator or a claim will look for.
Then come the operational ones. Leave. Working from home. Expenses. Company property. Dress code. Useful for consistency, but they are not the ones that create liability.
Writing twenty policies badly is worse than writing five properly, because acknowledgement rates fall as the pile grows.
