What Is End To End Recruitment Process
What is end to end recruitment process scope, precisely? It begins before the advertisement and ends well after the offer, and both edges are routinely left out.
It starts with the decision that a role is needed and what it is for. Whether the role has changed, what it must deliver, and what the genuine requirements are. Skipping this produces a position description copied from the last person, and requirements nobody has tested.
It ends after the person has started and settled. An accepted offer is not a successful hire. A hire that resigns at four months cost more than the vacancy did.
Defining the process this way changes what gets measured. Time to fill becomes less interesting than quality of hire at six months, and the requirements conversation at the start turns out to matter more than the interview.
The Australian Human Rights Commission covers recruitment obligations. This is general information rather than legal advice, and obligations vary by state and territory.
